Cold wave in north

NEW DELHI, JAN. 4. The northern region smarted under intense cold conditions today and dense fog for the third consecutive day affected train services and flight schedule. The mercury dipped to -1 degree celsius at Pilani in Rajasthan, Amritsar recorded 2 degree celsius, Mt. Abu and Sriganganagar 3 degree celsius and Gaya 7 degree celsius.
