By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI, JAN. 24. India today said that despite the lapse of three days, Pakistan had not come forward to claim the bodies of five of its soldiers belonging to 24 Baluch, killed in Akhnoor sector on January 21.

A press release by the Ministry of Defence said that Pakistan had chosen to remain silent, despite being aware of the involvement of its soldiers in the attack on the Indian post, PP- 13 in Akhnoor sector.

``This is in line with the trend evinced during Operation Vijay wherein 271 dead bodies are lying buried in our area. The Pakistani aggression is proved beyond doubt by way of their having left behind dead bodies and large number of weapons in Indian territory'', the release said.
