2 Indians held in Saudi Arabia
RIYADH, JAN. 24. Two Indians have been arrested after the Saudi
religious police raided an underground distillery, a newspaper
reported today.
Al-Jazira said the distillery was discovered in Hail, 450 km
north-west of the capital, on Sunday and 1,000 bottles of alcohol
were seized.
In Saudi Arabia those found guilty of selling alcohol face a
jail-term and flogging.
