Tremors in Warangal

WARANGAL, JAN. 24. Tremors of slight intensity were experienced
in five mandals of Warangal district on Monday morning. There was
no damage anywhere.
According to reports rushed by the revenue authorities to the
Collector, the tremors for less than two seconds were felt around
10-10 a.m. in Narsampet, Mahboobabad, Kesamudram, Gudur and
Kuravi mandals.
The walls in the office of the Mandal Revenue Office and the
Zilla Parishad High School at Gudur developed cracks under the
impact. The computers in the MRO office also got stuck up.
Household articles fell from their place in some houses.
The people in the five mandals were said to have heard a huge
sound with the tremors.
