No need for review: Jyoti Basu

CALCUTTA, JAN. 28. The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr. Jyoti Basu, today welcomed the President Mr. K. R. Narayanan's opposition to the Vajpayee Government's efforts to review the Constitution.

``We have been advocating for quite a long time that there is no need to review the Constitution and we don't think there is any necessity for it now,'' Mr. Basu told newsmen.
