Plane crashes into sea

ABIDJAN, JAN. 31. A Kenya Airways passenger plane, carrying some 180 persons, crashed into the sea off Cote D'Ivoire after taking off from Abidjan's airport yesterday.

There were 169 passengers and 10 crew members aboard the plane which was heading from Abidjan to Lagos and then to Nairobi.

An Ivory Coast rescue worker said here today that they have brought ashore 74 bodies.
