Krishan Kant arrives

BANGALORE, FEB. 3. The Governor, Ms. V. S. Rama Devi, the Mayor of Bangalore, Mr. Ramachandrappa, the Minister for Forests, Mr. K. H. Ranganath, the Agriculture Minister, Mr. Jayachandra, and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Mr. M. V. Venkatappa, and others received the Vice-President, Mr. Krishan Kant, and his wife, Ms. Suman Krishan Kant, at the Bangalore Airport on Thursday afternoon, when they arrived from Delhi.

The Home Minister, Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge, and the Minister of Ports and Fisheries, Mr. Ramanatha Rai, who travelled in the same aircraft from Delhi, were also present. The Chief Secretary, Mr. B. K. Bhattacharya, the Director General of Police, Mr. T. Srinivasulu, and Bangalore City Police Commissioner, Mr. T. Madiyal, were present at the airport.
