Amid tight security, the elections to elect a new
Bihar Assembly begin tomorrow. The first phase of polling
covering 108 constituencies of south and central Bihar assumes
significance from the point of naxalite-related violence as also
because aspirants for the State's top job are in the fray.

BOB chief not appointed as per law: HC
A Division Bench of the Madras High Court has
upheld a single judge's order, holding that the reappointment of
Mr. S. Srinivasan as Chairman of the Bharat Overseas Bank (BOB)
was not in accordance with the provisions of the Banking
Regulation Act.
Trinamul to sue Bengal CPI(M) leader
