Musharraf speaks of 'war hysteria'
ISLAMABAD, FEB. 22. Pakistan's military ruler, Gen. Pervez
Musharraf has accused the Indian leadership of ``trying to create
a war hysteria'' and warned New Delhi of ``serious consequences''
if war was ``imposed'' by it.
``The Indian leadership is deliberately trying to create a war
hysteria,'' Gen. Musharraf told a two-day conference of Corps
Commanders which began at Rawalpindi on Monday, according to a
report in an English daily Dawn today. It quoted informed sources
as saying that Gen. Musharraf ``warned of serious consequences if
India tried to impose a war on Pakistan.''
