Clash over Clinton visit

DHAKA, MARCH 12. About 300 Bangladeshi students clashed with police during a street rally in Dhaka today to protest against the U.S. President, Mr. Bill Clinton's visit on March 20.

The police used batons to disperse the demonstrators who over- ran a barricade and tried to march to the U.S. embassy. Witnesses said about six protesters were injured.
