Three killed in Pak shelling

SRINAGAR, MARCH 12. An Army captain and a woman were among three persons killed when Pakistani troops targeted forward Indian positions with mortors and artillery guns in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said today.

Captain Omkar Nath of 22 Maratha regiment and a porter were killed in shelling on two Indian posts along the Line Of Control in Uri sector of north Kashmir yesterday, the sources said. An official spokesman said a woman was killed when Pakistani troops opened fire on Indian positions in Karotana in R S Pura sector of Jammu region today.
