India men finish 21st

VILAMOURA (PORTUGAL), MARCH 20. India finished 21st among 26 teams in the men's long race of the World Cross-Country championships here on Sunday.

Sheshmani, with a 111th finish among 160 finishers was the best among the Indians, followed by Chinnappa (11&0, Darwan Singh (127) and Dasrath Tigga (140).

In the women's short race, India ended up 19th and last. Molly Biju performed the best among the Indian women, placing 99th among 120 finishers. K.P. Suma (109), Madhuri Gurnule (111) and Mukti Roy (113) were the other members of the team.
