100 p.c. dividend from Hero Honda
CHENNAI, MARCH 22. Hero Honda Motors today declared an interim
dividend of 100 per cent (Rs. 10 per share), involving an outgo
of Rs. 43.94 crores including dividend tax. The directors fixed
April 6 as the record date for this purpose.
The directors of Apollo Tyres have recommended an interim
dividend of Rs. 5 (50 per cent) for 1999-2000. However, shares
allotted during the year against conversion of warrants would be
entitled to a pro rata dividend. The record date has been fixed
as April 25.
BPL has announced an interim of 50 per cent for the year ending
March 31, 2000. The total outgo will be Rs. 15.37 crores
including distribution tax on dividend.
The board of directors of Hogonas India, a fully integrated iron
powder manufacturer based in Pune, have recommended an interim
dividend of 25 per cent.
Ultramarine & Pigments will be paying an interim dividend of 60
per cent including a millennium dividend of 10 per cent. The
record date has been fixed as April 13. The total dividend for
the previous year was 45 per cent.
Compucom Software has announced an interim dividend of 20 per
cent and the record date has been fixed as May 5.
Pondy Oxides will be paying an interim dividend of 12 per cent
for the year ending March 31 and the record date is May 3.
Premier Instruments for its part will be paying a 40 per cent
interim dividend and the record date has been fixed as April 22.
The directors of Precot Mills have decided to pay an interim of
30 per cent.
EID Parry will be paying a second interim of 50 per cent, the
first being 20 per cent.
Autolec Industries has recommended a 25 per cent interim and has
fixed the record date as April 20.
The trustees of Prudential ICICI Mutual Fund announced a 100 per
cent dividend for its open ended equity fund, growth plan. The
trustees also declared maiden dividend of 10 per cent on the FMCG
fund, a 60 per cent dividend on the tax plan and a tax-free
dividend of 8.4 per cent on the income plan.
