Wazir enjoys three-shot cushion

NEW DELHI, MARCH 29. Mohammad Wazir opened a three-stroke lead in
the junior category, but his overnight four-stroke advantage in
the sub-junior section was cut down to one after the second day
of the All India junior and sub-junior golf championships at the
Delhi Golf Club course on Wednesday.
In keeping with the trend of poor scores, Wazir carded a three-
over 75 but still managed to stay ahead of another local Lakhan
Singh, who shot a 76. Aditya Singh, who was in third place at
151, was one among three others who matched Wazir's score for the
day. Harinder Gupta and Rajiv Kumar, who carded a 75 each, shared
the fourth spot with Sikandar Ali at 152.
