Good show by Indians
NEW DELHI, APRIL 5. Indian judokas did the country proud by
winning 14 medals includuing five golds and the team championship
in the international open event held in Mauritius last week.
According to an Judo Federation of India (JFI) release, all the
14 member of the squad won a medal each.
Apart from five golds, the Indians claimed five silvers and four
bronze medals.
The medal winners: Gold: Pankaj Sharma, Vinod Gill, Kamla Rawat,
Bharti Dogra, Parvinder Kaur.
Silver: Akram Saha, Yashpal Solanki, Ashok Kumar, Arti Kohli,
Babita Negi.
Bronze: Satish Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Deepti Bhaduriya and Jasvir
Kaur.
