Actor admitted to Apollo Hospital
By Our Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI, APRIL 14. Film actor, Kishan Kumar, who continued to
suffer from ``chest pain'' for the seventh day today, had to be
admitted to Apollo Hospital within an hour of being brought out
of Kailash Hospital at Noida, near here, by police.
As a result, the Delhi Police Crime Branch officers could not
arrest him. An officer said it was a matter of time before Kishan
Kumar was arrested. ``His name has come up in the investigation.
He will not be spared.''
The officer, who had been at Kailash Hospital for the past one
week, was taking the ``ailing'' actor for a check-up at All-India
Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) when the actor again
complained of unease and ``chest pain.'' The friends of Kishan
Kumar, who were accompanying him, insisted that the actor be
rushed to Apollo Hospital.
Once at the hospital, it was a repeat of the drama at Kailash
Hospital. He was straightaway taken to the Intensive Care Unit
(ICU) and admitted around 1 p. m. Till late in the evening,
various tests were conducted on the actor and doctors said he
might have to remain in the hospital for at least two days.
