Jet Airways to provide new links

CHENNAI, APRIL 14. Jet Airways, will offer 24,000 seats a day on
its network and provide seven new links everyday in its summer
schedule.
Bangalore-Goa, Bangalore-Kochi, Bangalore-Coimbatore, Mumbai-
Madurai, Chennai-Hyderabad, Hyderabad-Vishakapatnam and
Hyderabad-Tirupati are the seven new links.
In a press release, Mr. V. Raja, General Manager of the airline
said with the induction of the fourth ATR-72-500 Turbo-prop
aircraft, the airline will provide an early morning link from
Mumbai to Kochi and return.
The airline will also link Goa with Bangalore by a daily flight.
This will be the maiden Jet Airways connection between the
popular tourist destination - Goa and India's IT hub - Bangalore
with convenient links to Hyderabad and Coimbatore in addition to
a daily evening flight connecting Bangalore and Coimbatore, both
ways.
The new Mumbai-Madurai-Mumbai link will be effective from April
16 covering the distance in one hour and forty minutes. The
induction of the fifth ATR-72-500 aircraft will provide new links
between Chennai-Hyderabad,- Vishakapatnam and also Hyderabad-
Tirupati from May 10.
