5 killed in encounter
BUXAR, APRIL 14. Five criminals were killed in an overnight
encounter with police at Jaidpur village in Buxar district of
Bihar.
District Magistrate Ranjeet Purnhani today said of the two
policemen injured, one admitted to the Patna medical college
hospital was in a serious condition.
A huge cache of arms, including two rifles, a gun, a hand grenade
and 300 cartridges, were recovered.
Zonal Inspector General Neelmani said additional police had been
deployed in the village where senior police and administrative
officials were camping.
