Irish Dy. PM sees scope for tourism

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, APRIL 14. The Irish Deputy Prime Minister, Mrs. T. D. Mary Harney, has stated that there is immense scope for the promotion of tourist destinations in Kerala internationally.

She conveyed this during discussions with the Tourism and Food Minister, Mr. E. Chandrasekharan Nair, here on Thursday. The visiting dignitary told the Minister that she was fascinated by tourist destinations in the State, especially Kovalam.

The Irish Deputy Prime Minister suggested improvement of ties with other countries for the development of tourism.
