Great pressure on players: Kapil

NEW DELHI, APRIL 19. ``The pressure on the players will be greater,'' said Kapil Dev as he reacted to the ongoing matchfixing allegations, on his return from abroad on Wednesday.

The coach of the Indian team suggested that India should not play any cricket until the matter was sorted out. Kapil said it would be difficult for the players to convince people every time the team lost. ``Every time you score zero or drop a catch, people will doubt you. It will be difficult to convince them. The pressure on the players will be greater,'' he said.

Kapil also dismissed the charges of matchfixing against him and said those who had evidence should give it to the Board or the investigating agency.
