Indian elected PATA council chief

HONG KONG, APRIL 30. A travel agent from India, Mr. Ram Kohli, was today elected the chairman of the Industry and Business Council of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).The PATA is a prestigious organisation of travel trade comprising airlines, hoteliers, travel and tour operators. Mr. Kohli, will hold the office for two years ending in 2002 at the 51st PATA annual conference scheduled to be held in India.
