Missionaries attacked

AHMEDABAD, MAY 6. A group of Christians was allegedly attacked
while distributing leaflets in Vivekanandanagar locality in
Hathijan on the outskirts of Ahmedabad yesterday. At least two
persons were hospitalised with multiple injuries.
The police said two persons were arrested in this connection and
sharp weapons recovered from them. An inquiry was on to establish
their antecedents. The police had no information about the
burning of religious literature by the miscreants.
