Babloo case: Hibare's driver arrested
By Our Staff Correspondent
BIDAR, MAY 8. Police arrested Manohar, driver of the main
accused, Shatrugna Hibare, in the Babloo murder case, on Sunday
night.
According to police sources, Manohar, who had been absconding
since the beheading of Babloo (5) on April 1, was arrested at
Hallikhed B village.
Police also reportedly seized the jeep, which is said to have
been used for bringing the sorcerer from Akkalakot town in
Maharashtra for committing the murder, at Humnabad town.
However, little headway has been made in identifying the
sorcerer. ``We are still in the dark about his identity apart
from the information that he was from Akkalakot town. When a
police team went there, he had left the place,'' a senior police
officer supervising the investigation said.
