Govt. gesture
BHOPAL, MAY 10. The Madhya Pradesh Government has given
directives to the district Collectors to give priority in loan
and employment to the retrenched daily wage workers.
The Collectors have been asked to short-list the sacked employees
and give priority in several beneficiary schemes to persons
living below the poverty line, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled
Tribes besides women, an official release said today.
These sacked workers would be given priority in getting bank loan
for the government schemes.
