CBI questions Sunil Deo
NEW DELHI, MAY 13. CBI, on Saturday, questioned former India
manager Sunil Dev in the cricket match-fixing scandal.
Dev, who managed Indian team to 1997 South Africa tour, said he
had given the relevant information to CBI regarding the match-
fixing scandal, Star News quoted him as saying.
CBI, which has been asked to probe the match-fixing scandal, is
planning to question Manoj Prabhakar soon about his claim that
Indian ace-allrounder Kapil Dev had offered him bribe to play
below his potential.
After a former cricket board chief I.S. Bindra told an
international TV channel about the alleged offer of Kapil Dev,
agency sources have said Prabhakar on his own had not yet got in
touch with the agency.
