Somnath temple gets Rs. 5 crores for renovation
SOMNATH (GUJARAT), MAY 14. The Union Home Minister, Mr. L. K.
Advani, and the Union Minister for Cultural Affairs, Mr. Anant
Kumar, accounced financial assistance of Rs. five crores for the
renovation of the Somnath temple.
At a public meeting within the temple premises on Saturday, the
Ministers said the Central assistance should be used for
constructing a cultural bhavan, yatri niwas, light and sound
programmes and other infrastructural facilities.
