Where summer is fun
AS THE sun beats down mercilessly and the vacation spirit soars,
there is nothing like a cool dip in the clear waters of the
pools. And what if a whole park is devoted to water sport and
rides? Nothing like it to beat the oppressive heat.
Situated on the Chennai-Bangalore highway, Dash 'N' Splash is an
easy drive away from the city, where parents and children can
take hair-raising rides or disport themselves in water. Spread
over 21 acres of verdant land, the theme park, boasts of
artificial rain and waterfalls too. Slide ride, spiral ride, free
fall, wave slide....there is a variety of amusement to offer
respite from the drudgery of academics or work.
There are special safe sport for children in shallow waters.
Parks with play equipment for the young ones are also a big draw.
The restaurant within the premises offers a wide choice of
vegetarian dishes.
The entry fee is Rs 100 and free bus services are offered on
Sundays from 10.00 a.m. (phone 5225684 or 5267702) Isn't it time
to splash about?
