Assam Assembly polls likely in November

GUWAHATI, MAY 15. Elections to the Assam Assembly is likely to be
held in November, according to the State unit president of the
Trinamool Congress, Mr. Chitta Ranjan Patwari. Talking to
reporters, Mr. Patwari, who met Ms. Mamata Banerjee in New Delhi
recently, said during their meeting, she told them that the
elections would be ``held after six months''.
