Dillon's career-best wakes up Pakistan
BRIDGETOWN, MAY 16. Pakistan's cricketers, particularly their
batsmen, got a horrifying wake-up call just three days prior to
the second Test of their current series against West Indies later
this week here.
Fast bowler Mervyn Dillon, overlooked for West Indies' summer
visit to England, captured a career-best six wickets for 40 runs
from 15 overs to help a West Indies A team inflict a demoralising
65-run defeat on Pakistan at Kensington Oval on Monday.
Brief scores: West Indies 160 and 362 bt Pakistan 346 and 145 (M.
Wasim 47, I. Nazir 39, Dillon 6 for 40).
