Ask Sidhu, says Prabhakar
NEW DELHI, MAY 24.The former cricket all-rounder, Mr. Manoj
Prabhakar, today named Mr. Kapil Dev who allegedly tried to bribe
him six years ago and said compatriot Mr. N.S. Sidhu ``knows
everything''.
Mr. Prabhakar, who named the former India skipper as the one who
offered him Rs. 25 lakhs to play poorly in a game against
Pakistan in a 1994 Colombo tournament, in an interview to a
website ``Tehelka.com'', however, quipped ``ask Mr. Sidhu''.
Asked why the former skipper, Mr. Sunil Gavaskar, or Mr. Ravi
Shastri had kept quiet, he said ``maybe they are looking for more
dues from the Board''.
Mr. Prabhakar refused to say whether he had mentioned the name of
Mr. Kapil Dev to the CBI. ``I went today. That's all,'' he said.
