Pak. denial
By Amit Baruah
ISLAMABAD, MAY 24. Pakistan today denied reports quoting American
officials that Islamabad was planning another nuclear test. The
denial came four days before the second anniversary of Pakistan's
nuclear tests on May 28.
``The (Western news agency) report is utterly baseless,'' the
Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mr. Ifthekar Murshed, said in a
statement.
``Pakistan has declared a unilateral moratorium on testing and
the report has no foundation whatsoever,'' he maintained.
