I've done my job, says Prabhakar
By Our Staff Correspondent
BHOPAL, MAY 28. Former Test cricketer, Manoj Prabhakar, today
said he had done his job of exposing the match-fixing racket that
has plagued Indian cricket for several years saying he was only
trying to cleanse the system and not target any individual.
Later in an exclusive chat with The Hindu, he said that after
having failed to clean the system from within, he was now trying
to do it from outside.
Asked why he had remained silent for so many years, he said he
had always shared the information he had regarding match- fixing
with those responsible for managing the Indian cricket scene at
all levels but nothing had come of it. He, however, hoped
something concrete would now come out of the ongoing CBI
probe.Prabhakar said he had taken up this crusade for the cause
of the nation.
