GM award for Sundram Fasteners

CHENNAI: Sundram Fasteners Ltd. (SFL) has won the General Motors' `Best of the Best' supplier of the year award 1999 for the fourth time in succession. SFL is the only company from India and one of the 184 suppliers worldwide that have achieved the distinction. The award was presented to SFL in Munich, Germany, last month. The award is to honour the suppliers who have achieved world class levels of quality, service, technology and price in support of General Motors. SFL has consistently supplied radiator caps with zero defects and 100 per cent delivery adherence to GM of the U.S., according to a release.
