Five Indians in British Open qualifier

NEW DELHI, JUNE 9. Chiranjeev Milkha Singh and reigning Indian Open winner Jyoti Randhawa figure among five Indians professionals who will compete in the British Open final qualifying golf tournament in Scotland on July 16 and 17.

Gaurav Ghei, Arjun Atwal and Amandeep Johl are the other Indians who will be in fray for an entry into the third `major' of the year, which will be held at the St. Andrew's in Scotland from July 20 to 23. Twenty-seven Asian PGA Tour players including five Indians will participate in the qualifying tournament in which normally 50 spots are at stake. The two-round tournament will be conducted simultaneously at four different venues - Leven Links, Lundin Links, Scotscraig Course and Ladybank Course.
