Politics is a game of tricks, Full of sudden gimmicks. Today someone in the back I kick, Together tomorrow an ice cream we lick. When the elections are near, Amidst a lot of cheer, Plenty of speeches and promises we hear From politicians who are in top gear. But when the results are here, No one is anywhere near Everyone has this fear Whether or not he'll get the seat dear! Would you believe this system that drives us crazy, And 'gifts' us politicians who show no mercy, Is none other than good old Democracy?
