IAS officers reshuffled

HYDERABAD, JUNE 14. The Government effected reshuffle of a number of secretary-level IAS officers on Wednesday.

Mr. J. Rambabu, Principal Secretary, Revenue, was transferred to R & B department and Mrs. Chaya Ratan, Secretary, Education, to Revenue. Mr. G. Sudhir, Secretary, Revenue, was posted as Secretary, Higher Education and Mr. A. K. Goyal, Secretary, was shifted to Municipal Administration and Urban Development.

Mr. N. S. Hariharan, Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration, would take over as Principal Secretary, Housing in place of Mr. B. Danam transferred to Labour, Employment and Training. Mr. M. Nagarjuna, who headed a World Bank-aided health project, was posted as Secretary, Education.

Mr. Bhanwarlal, Collector, Hyderabad, would be Joint Managing Director, AP TRANSCO. Mr. S. Bhale Rao, Secretary, Transport, R&B, was posted as Secretary, Cooperation, Mr. A. C. Puneetha as Commissioner, School Education and Mr. Nagi Reddy, Managing Director, Markfed, as MD, APCOB.

Mr. K. Durgaprasad, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam, was posted as Director, Vigilance & Enforcement, AP TRANSCO.
