Greece supports India's move on terrorism

ATHENS, JUNE 16. Greece today came out in firm support of India's move on U.N. Convention against Terrorism.

Athens' backing to New Delhi's move was conveyed to the visiting Vice-President, Mr. Krishan Kant when he called on the Greek President, Mr. Costis Stephanopoulos here. Emerging from the meeting, Mr. Kant told presspersons that Greece had made it clear that it was supportive of India's move on a U.N. Convention against Terrorism. The proposal is at present before a U.N. sub- committee and is likely to be taken up in September this year.
