Man waylaid, robbed of cash, chain

BANGALORE, JULY 16. Four persons waylaid an employee of a star
hotel and robbed him of a gold chain, cash and a wrist-watch in
the Ulsoor Police limits in the early hours of Sunday.
According to a complaint filed by Mr. Hari Shankar, a senior
steward at The Taj Residency, the incident occurred near the
Girls' Junior College at Jogupalya at about 2.30 a.m. when he was
returning home from the hotel on his motorcycle.
The Ulsoor Police have registered a case and are investigating.
