By Our Staff Reporter
KOCHI, JULY 26.A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court today
dismissed petitions requesting the Court to review its July 7
judgment which directed the Government of Kerala to quash the
list, released by it, of schools which were allotted Plus Two
courses.
The review petitions, filed by Sister Vivian, Corporate Manager
of St. Teresa's Convent, Ernakulam, and Mr. B. Abdul Rahiman,
Manager of B.A.R. High School, Kasaragod district, were dismissed
by the Chief Justice, Mr. A.V.Savant and Mr. Justice K.S.
Radhakrishnan.
The Court pointed out that it had ascertained from the
Additional Advocate-General that the time schedule indicated in
the operative part of the judgment has been adhered to and the
judgment has been complied with. According to the Additional
Advocate-General, the court ruled, the list of schools which are
eligible for Plus Two during the current academic year is being
finalised.
The Court also said that there has been no appeal to the Supreme
Court by any of the parties affected by the High Court judgment.
The Court also pointed out that the review petitioners did not
appear before the Court and make their submissions in spite of
the Court's directive by way of paper publication.
