By Our Staff Correspondent

CHITRADURGA, JULY 30. The condition of the former Chief Minister, Mr. S. Nijalingappa, has not improved, the doctors attending on him said here on Sunday.

Mr. Nijalingappa continued to be on life support system, and he had not fully recovered from the lung infection. Though he did not open his eyes, his eye movement was perfect. He was breathing with the help of a ventilator, and showed only ``meagre'' response on Sunday. He was, however, stable, they said.

Meanwhile, official sources said that the Chief Minister, Mr. S. M. Krishna, had postponed his visit to Chitradurga to Tuesday. The Chief Minister, who was scheduled to visit here on Monday, would arrive here by helicopter on Tuesday morning and leave for Bangalore after spending some time with Mr. Nijalingappa, they added.
