Cricket CD-ROM launched
MUMBAI, AUG. 9. `Cricket 2000', a PC CD-ROM game for Indian
cricket enthusiasts, has been launched by Milestone Interactive
Software Ltd.
The game features accurately modified pitch and weather
conditions, television style replays and ball- by-ball commentary
by Richie Benaud and David Gower.
Two people can play the game together or against each other,
recreating even the ICC World Cup on the computer. The user has
the option of choosing and modifying cricket conditions - pitch,
weather, day or night.
Even the venue can be tailored to the user's choice, with the
option to choose from 25 accurately modeled 3-D environment of
international stadium venues in countries ranging from England,
South Africa, India, Australia.
`Cricket 2000' is priced at Rs 999 and available at leading
books, computer and entertainment stores all over India,
according to MISL.
