Health services hit
PATNA, AUG. 23. Health services across Bihar remained paralysed
as private and government doctors went on a day's token strike
today and the 72-hour strike by Bihar Druggists and Chemists
Association (BCDA) entered the third day.
Doctors went on strike to protest against the ``growing incidence
of violence against them at the call of the Indian Medical
Association''.Patients admitted in government hospitals faced
severe hardships with doctors from primary health centres to
medical colleges abstaining from work.
