PM to look after Power Ministry

NEW DELHI, AUG. 25. THE Prime Minister, Mr.Atal Behari Vajpayee, will directly hold the charge of the Ministry of Power, following the death of the Power Minister,Mr.Rangarajan Kumaramangalam, on Wednesday.

A Rashtrapati Bhavan communique issued today said the President, on the advice of the Prime Minister, had issued the directive that Mr.Vajpayee will hold the charge of the Power Ministry also. Ms.Jaywantibhen Mehta is the Minister of State in the Power Ministry.
