Garbage collection back to normal
By Our Staff Reporter
CHENNAI, AUG. 25. Garbage collection in South Chennai was back on
wheels today, thanks to the two rainless days.
``The problem is not very bad in the Perungudi dumping ground
today as the weather has cleared. We have been able operate
vehicles and clear some garbage from the zone 10 transfer
station,'' an CES-Onyx spokesperson said.
In the next couple of days, the backlog will be cleared, the
spokesperson added.
