Indian boys lose third match
NEW DELHI, AUG. 25. The Indian boys lost their third successive
match, against host Czech Republic, in the World Junior (under-
14) tennis final in Prostejov.
Tushar Liberhan and Karan Rastogi were on the verge of winning a
face-saving doubles match but lost a three-setter 5-7 in the
third set after winning the first set in the tie-breaker.
The second best team in the Asia-Oceania zone, India will take on
South Africa in its last group `II' encounter, in the 20-nation
competition.

Boys group `II': Czech Republic bt India 3-0 (Jan Langer bt
Tushar Liberhan 7-5, 6-3; Tomas Piskacek bt Karan Rastogi 6-4, 6-
1; Jan Langer and Tomas Piskacek bt Tushar Liberhan and Karan
Rastogi 6-7 (4-7), 6-4, 7-5.
Spain bt South Africa 3-0 (Marcel Granollers bt Christian Coetzee
6-1, 6-2; Rafael Nadal bt David North 6-1, 6-2; Rafael Nadal and
Bartolome Salva bt Christian Coetzee and David NOrth 7-5, 6-0).
