Chhattisgarh cell formed

BHOPAL, AUG. 25. The Madhya Pradesh Government has set up a Chhattisgarh cell under its general administration department to complete all administrative formalities related to the new Chhattisgarh State.

All departments, except the Bhopal Gas Relief and Narmada Valley Development Department, have been instructed to prepare computerised bio- data of officers and employees by September 30, 2000, an official release said.

Departments have been asked to publish and update the upgradation lists by October 1.

Principal secretaries and secretaries have been instructed to enlist cadres and sanction additional staff in districts of the new State and also in the rest of Madhya Pradesh.

Instructions have been given to prepare separate cadre-wise lists of officers and employees at headquarters and propose the cadre- wise staff for the new State.
