The week ahead
THIS will be an interesting week, astrologically speaking. In the
beginning of the week there will be an opposition, which suggests
tension, between Pluto in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Gemini. The
ensuing struggle will be between Pluto's need to break down
structures, and Jupiter's pursuit of expansion. You are likely to
feel pulled in two different directions as you are torn between
wanting to give things up and build on them at the same time. The
best thing to do is meditate on your life and try to determine
what structures are outdated and need to be swept away, and what
structures you want to build your future upon. You may not be
able to tell which is which this week, but over the next few
weeks, as Pluto and Jupiter continue to interact in the sky, all
will be made clear.

Queries Answered
FOR deciding a wedding match, will poruttham based on birth star
of bride and groom do, or should other aspects of the horoscopes
also match?
Vijayaraghavachari, Chennai 45
It is always advisable to recommend a marital match duly
considering the birth stars of the proposed bride and groom, and
also the 7th, 8th and 9th Bhavas in both horoscopes. Dasas and
Bhukthis in operation for the girl and the boy will also play a
role in determining the course of the events in the marriage of
the pair. Puthra Bhava (5th House) and the placement of Puthra
Karaka Jupiter are also to be examined to see the potential for
progeny. When horoscopes are not available, then agreement can be
adjudged based on the birth stars or even Nama Nakshatras.
