8 new channels to target Asians

LONDON, SEPT. 3. An Indian entrepreneur here has launched a ``bouquet of eight TV channels'' to cater for Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Gujarati, Bengali and Urdu-speaking communities the world over.

``Our mission is to take Asians, particularly people of the Indian diaspora, all over the world on a journey back to their culture and their roots by providing a perfect balance between quality entertainment and targeted religious programmes,'' Mr. M. Suneel, chairman of Reminiscent Television Network, said here.
