Putin visit from Oct. 2

MOSCOW, SEPT. 15. The Russian President, Mr. Vladimir Putin, will travel to India on a State visit from October 2 to 5, Moscow officially announced on Friday.

``A major political document as well as a number of important bilateral accords are being readied for signing,'' Itar-Tass quoted the Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Alexander Losyukov, as having said.
