Intruder gets bail
WASHINGTON, SEPT. 20. An American Indian arrested last Saturday
by the U.S. Secret Service at Blair House where the Prime
Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, stayed during his visit to
Washington has been granted bail by a court.
Mr. Dipal Pandya was charged with unlawful entry and appeared in
U.S. district court on Monday, said Mr. Channing Phillips,
spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's office in the District of
Colombia.
